008. [Publication] Alternating Polarity for Electrochemical Synthesis

By Connor Taylor on November 15, 2020

When optimising an electrochemical process, many reported syntheses use either a constant current or constant potential rather than using alternating polarity to maintain efficiency throughout the reaction. In a recent publication in Reaction Chemistry & Engineering,[1] Compunetics was employed to identify the observed rate constants in the formation of copper N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) - for more information, see the reported publication.
